Apple Watch Expense Tracking Guide
The best expense tracker is the one you actually use. And the easiest way to use one is to have it right on your wrist.
The ExpenTrace Apple Watch app isn't just a companion—it's a powerful tool for on-the-go finance. Here is how to get the most out of it.
1. Adding Expenses
Tap the big "+" button on the watch face. You can enter the amount using the number pad. We've optimized the buttons to be large and easy to tap, even when you're walking.
2. Quick Actions
Do you buy the same $4.50 coffee every morning? Set up a "Quick Action" on your phone. It will appear on your Watch, letting you log that coffee with a single tap.
3. Daily Budget Complications
Add ExpenTrace to your Watch Face. The complication shows your "Daily Spending" progress bar.
- Green: You are well under your daily average.
- Yellow: Getting close to typical spending.
- Red: High spending day.
4. Voice Input (Coming Soon)
We are working on Siri integration so you can say "Log 15 dollars for lunch" while your hands are full.
Tracking expenses shouldn't require pulling out your phone, unlocking it, and finding an app. Raise your wrist, tap, and you're done.
